PPE 2 PHL
We are a grassroots team of Philadelphia-based health professional students mobilizing to provide healthcare workers with the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) they need to combat the COVID-19 Pandemic. We work alongside the Department of Public Health to ensure all donations are distributed fairly.
WHY

Throughout our country, there are shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers who are risking their health to keep us well.

Healthcare providers have been coming out of retirement, working overtime, and putting themselves and their families in danger to protect us and let us stay at home.

There have been cases of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff ending in critical condition or even death due to their heavy exposure to the virus without adequate equipment.
SUPPORT OUR EFFORTS
Our goal is to avoid putting our doctors, nurses, techs, physician assistants, and all other hospital workers at more risk by forcing them to use less than ideal protective equipment. They deserve our support as much as they protect us. Here's what you can do:
